Create Campaigns

Assetminder can now offer Fleet and Workshops the ability to create a series of Campaigns such as common faults, manufacturer recalls and software updates, that include a broad range of configurability that will work for any Maintenance Operation.

Under DVSA Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness; Operators are obliged to act promptly to make sure rectification work is carried out, if they receive notification of a safety recall from a manufacturer. This will remove the risk that the potential defect may cause the vehicle to become unsafe to drive or break laws.

Operators are obliged to record a Vehicle Safety Recall Notification and evidence of rectification on the Vehicle Maintenance File.

Operators should have a robust system in place to make sure:

• Vehicles do not have an Outstanding Vehicle Safety Recall

• Rectification is arranged, as soon as possible, when they receive a Recall Notification

• Operators should normally carry out rectification work at the next Scheduled Safety Inspection, unless parts are unavailable or there is a long lead time for the Manufacturer’s Workshop.

The operator should take a vehicle out of service immediately if the recall notification is urgent until the safety recall is actioned. They should get advice from the manufacturer about the nature and severity of the recall.

• Create as many Campaigns as you want

• A broad range of configurability based on make, model, year and range

• Add reference documents

• Track Campaign Progress against individual assets

• Share important technical documentation and images

• CSV VIN number upload to large scale Campaigns

Recall/Safety Campaign; means actions the operator is obliged to implement in order to recall Goods for reasons of traffic safety, operational safety, legal requirements and/or environmental requirements.

Technical Campaign; means actions the operator is obliged to implement in the event of risk for vehicle off road “VOR” (unplanned roadside stop) or in the event of cost-intensive or time consuming repairs.

Recommended Action; means actions other than the actions under a Recall or Technical Campaign that are recommended by the dealer, to be implemented by a recommended maintenance workshop in cases of Serial Defects, following the prior agreement of the Supplier.
